Julia Miller is the assistant dean for Executive Education and Non-Degree Programs at Columbia Law School. Her academic interests include leadership development, legal education, and adult learning.
Before joining the Law School in 2015, Miller was the director of non-credit programs in the Division of Programs in Business at New York University’s School of Professional Studies. Prior to her time in academia, she was a securities enforcement attorney for more than a decade at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius in New York City. During that time, she represented prominent financial institutions and their senior executives in complex governmental and self-regulatory organization investigations, examinations, and disciplinary proceedings, including matters before the Securities and Exchange Commission, state attorneys general, the Financial Regulatory Authority, the New York Stock Exchange, and the National Association of Securities Dealers.
Miller holds a B.A., with high distinction, from the University of Virginia and a J.D. from the University of Michigan.
